The driver of an electric vehicle can choose between two GHG revenue models. There is either a fixed price of up to 350 euros or a variable best price, which is between 280 and 450 euros for most people.

GHG premium is no longer taxable
In the meantime, the amount paid out annually no longer has to be taxed, even in excess of 255 euros, since it is a tax-free additional income in accordance with Section 22 No. 3 EStG. However, the checks by the responsible Federal Environment Agency are being delayed due to the large number of registrations. And also some web portals cannot keep up with the organization of payments and credits.
