Capcom has the third developer video too Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection released. This time, Peter Fabiano tells us a little more about the difficulty level in Arthur’s return.
Great challenges for the players are almost in Arthur’s DNA. Associated with this is the satisfaction when a tight spot is mastered. Peter Fabiano says in the new video that as a schoolboy he liked exactly this aspect back then. This should also be the case in the new project.
As a compromise, however, they offer different levels of difficulty. The higher this is, the fewer hits Arthur can take. But there will also be more opponents if you dare to try the “Legend” mode, for example.
You can find the first developer video here, the second here.
Proven and new
Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection promises action-packed side-scrolling gameplay with a fairytale-like look and challenging obstacles. You accompany the brave knight Arthur again through the dark worlds. You run, jump and fight your way through countless enemies and try to free the princess from the captivity of the demon ruler.
Those familiar with the originals and newcomers can choose between three levels of difficulty: Squire, Knight and Legend. New is a page mode that allows budding knights to be reborn in the same place with unlimited lives.
Arthur relies on tried and tested weapons such as the lance and dagger, but he also has new tools such as the hammer and the spiked ball at his disposal. Arthur’s updated arsenal also includes new skills and various types of magic.
The “reinterpretation” Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection will be available exclusively digitally for Nintendo Switch on February 25, 2021.
