Godzilla vs. Kong ‘gets first impressive trailer

After a lot of patience, the long-awaited movie Godzilla vs. King finally a trailer. It shows us everything we could hope for: epic fights, explosions, special effects and much more.

King Kong first appeared on the white in 1933. Since then, 12 films about the giant ape have been released. Godzilla made his screen debut in 1954, but has already been the subject of a film 32 times. Yet both met each other at least once: in the Japanese film King Kong vs. Godzilla from 1962.

Reason enough for a big confrontation they must have thought at producer Legendary Entertainment. Godzilla vs. Kong is the fourth installment of the MonsterVerse franchise, after Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019).

Release in March 2021

Normally it was meant to be Godzilla vs. Kong could already be seen in the cinema in March last year, but the corona crisis disrupted that planning. After that, the film was postponed several times, after which it was finally decided to launch it simultaneously in the cinema and on the streaming service HBO Max. That will happen in the United States on March 26, 2021. We still have to wait for a release date in Belgium.

In the first big trailer van Godzilla vs. Kong we don’t just see some epic battles between the two protagonists from the film. We also get a look at much of the star case that the film managed to collect. These include Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Kyle Chandler, Brian Tyree Henry and Eiza González. The director is Adam Wingard (You’re Next, The Guest, Death Note).
