While GPUs were hardly available for several years, manufacturers are now vying for the favor of players with cashback campaigns.

Anyone who wanted to buy a graphics card in recent years was confronted with tight contingents, extortionate prices and empty shelves. Now the situation has changed significantly: the manufacturers’ warehouses are full, an official price reduction is expected, but has not yet been announced by AMD or Nvidia. The manufacturers are now pushing ahead with cashback campaigns in order to bring their oversupplies to the players after all.

250 euros cash back
Manufacturer Asus, for example, offers a cashback campaign for the purchase of graphics cards from AMD. AMD’s Radeon graphics cards will be eligible for a post-purchase refund until mid-August. For example, anyone who buys the Asus ROG Strix LC RX 6900 XT or the Asus TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6900 XT Top should get 250 euros back. Alternate, Caseking, Notebookscheapiger, Galaxus, Computeruniverse, Bora Computer, Asus E-Shop, Arlt, Digitalplus, Media Markt and Saturn are named as partner dealers. However, the promotion at Asus does not apply to graphics cards from Nvidia.
Smaller GPUs are also cheaper
The result, for example, at Galaxus is a price of 857 euros instead of 1,107 euros for the Asus TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6900 XT Top. For smaller cards like the ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT OC there is still 200 euros cashback. With the Radeon RX 6800 XT cards, it is 150 euros as cashback.
Gigabyte with an alternative offer
Gigabyte also has a similar cashback promotion. Alternate, Amazon, Bora, Caseking, Computeruniverse, Cyberport, Equippr, Galaxus, Media Markt, Mindfactory, Notebooksbilliger, Saturn and Xkom are listed as partners. If you buy an expensive monitor or mainboard, you can get up to 250 euros back. In the case of an RTX 3090 Gaming OC, however, it is only 100 euros. All other cards are only considered with 20 euros.
