The Bloomberg news agency claims to have learned new details about “Grand Theft Auto 6” this week. As a result, the latest installment will feature a female protagonist for the first time in the franchise’s history. The Latina is rumored to be robbing a bank with the male protagonist. In the course of the game, a story in the style of the gangster couple Bonnie and Clyde should develop from this.
Vice City as the setting
A fictional Miami, which is referred to as Vice City in the series, is to serve as the setting for “Grand Theft Auto 6”. In addition to Miami, other cities are to be added to the map as the game progresses. However, fans of the series will have to wait a little longer before they can slip into the role of the bank robber couple.
Release planned for 2023 or 2024
According to Bloomberg, Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released between April 2023 and March 2024. Developer Rockstar Games has not yet officially confirmed the rumors. The platforms for which the game will be released have also not yet been announced. According to speculation, “Grand Theft Auto 6” could be available for the current Playstation and Xbox generation as well as for the PC.
