Guilty Gear -Strive- presents two new characters and the release date

After Arc System Works provided us with information about the playable characters in Guilty Gear -Strive- has recently also announced implementations of the game for PlayStation 5 and PCs. Today the release date was announced.

Guilty Gear -Strive- will be released on April 9, 2021. But this only applies to the standard version. Buyers of the Deluxe Edition and the Ultimate Edition will get access three days earlier, namely on April 6, 2021. However, only 13 of the 15 characters will then be playable and only in offline mode. In story mode, only the prologue is playable.

With Giovanna (voice actress Mayumi Shinani) and Anji Mito they also announced two more characters. This increases the number of characters to 14, so one is still missing. Five more characters will be released in Season Pass 1 and the numbering of the Season Pass already suggests that the journey will continue after that.

To celebrate there is a new trailer today that shows you Giovanna in action. Another trailer is dedicated solely to the release date and praises the start of a new generation of fighting games. And then there are two new music videos.
