As part of the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, developer legend Hideo Kojima (“Metal Gear Solid”, “Death Stranding”) announced a collaboration with Microsoft and Xbox Game Studios. The game, which has not yet been named, is said to use Microsoft’s cloud technology. This is intended to offer a “native cloud experience”. However, Kojima left open exactly what this means.
Xbox exclusive game
The game is said to be exclusive to Xbox and unique. The independent studio Kojima Productions will also strive in the future for new technologies that combine the possibilities of games with films and music via platforms.
Playstation still in view
According to Kojima, the existing cooperation with Sony and Playstation will not change despite the cooperation with Microsoft for the Xbox.

the studio announced that they were still interested in a good working relationship with Sony. So apparently Playstation owners don’t have to worry about another release of new Kojima games on the Playstation. Nevertheless, the announcement of a cooperation between Microsoft and Kojima Productions surprised many gamers worldwide. After all, many of the previously released titles such as “Death Stranding”, “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker” or “Zone of the Enders” were previously only available on the Playstation platform. However, later games like “Metal Gear Rising Revengeance” or “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” already appeared for the Playstation and the Xbox. When the first game scenes from the still nameless game by Hideo Kojima for the Xbox will be shown remains open.
