Avalanche Software has released a 14 minute gameplay video of the RPG Hogwarts Legacy.

As part of Sony’s State of Play event this week, developer Avalanche Software released a 14-minute gameplay video of Hogwarts Legacy. The title will be released in the fourth quarter of 2022 for PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
Magic students at Hogwarts
Hogwarts Legacy is based on the Harry Potter series of novels by author JK Rowling. The open-world role-playing game puts players as students in the Hogwarts wizarding academy. There they can choose one of the four houses and create their own character.
Typical RPG elements
During classes, players learn different spells and spell combinations to use in battle. The aim is to exploit the opponent’s weaknesses and abilities with your own spells in duels. As is typical of role-playing games, the character can be upgraded with magical items that improve certain abilities as the game progresses.
Unlike the Harry Potter films and novels, the game is set in the 1800s. So players won’t meet many familiar faces. The story tells of a possible uprising of the goblins against the wizards.
