After downloading, start the setup file to install the software. In the first step you will be asked to enter a license key. Now click on the “Request license key” button. A website opens in the browser where you enter a valid email address and then click on “Request full version key here”. An e-mail will then land in your e-mail inbox, which you can use to confirm your e-mail address. You can then create an Ashampoo account or postpone it until later. In step 3 your license key will be displayed. You can then use this to complete the installation of Home Design 7.

Should you

already created an Ashampoo account with your email address

then you will find the license key after logging in and clicking on your user name at the top right under “Licenses”.

Ashampoo Home Design 7 for Windows 10 and Windows 11 allows you to design, set up and visualize your own house, extension or conversion. With the project assistant and numerous automatic functions, this comfortable drawing program makes it easier to get started with house planning and any calculations.

With the object library, a complete set-up including furniture, electronics and decoration is also possible. No planning aspect is left unconsidered. The 3D view allows you to take a tour of the self-imagined architecture before even the foundation stone is laid. The software provides all elements such as walls, ceilings, windows, doors, recesses, slits, skylights, solar panels, chimneys, downstands/downstands. Three design levels (2D, 3D, cross section) ensure maximum clarity at every step.

Millions of SketchUp and Collada objects can be imported with the house planner, which allows for a detailed setup and appearance of the models. In the new version 7 there are over 1200 new 3D objects and more than 250 ready-to-use groups in the new group catalogue. The input and editing of walls, windows and doors is much easier thanks to new, numeric input variants and tools. Working with catalogs is expanded by new catalogs with groups of pre-constructed garages, kitchen units, garden houses and saunas. You can also create your own catalog directories and use them directly in the catalogues.
