There is a lot to be said for the authenticity of the image: the imagery and motif correspond to the usual official images from Honda. Details like the red seats could also be seen in the official YouTube video.
Front design and colors of the Civic Type R
At the front, in addition to the new, narrower headlights, the enlarged central air intake is noticeable. The side air intakes could be functional and cool the large Brembo brakes with red calipers with airflow. As usual, the side windows from the B-pillar are darkened.
The colors were leaked days ago: black, white, gray, red and blue – only the striking Phoenix Yellow was missing.
Next Civic Type R again with three tailpipes
The new Sport Civic also comes with a large rear wing, but it is now a little more delicate and flat. Another important feature of the predecessor is also carried over: the three central tailpipes. So far, however, the central tailpipe was smaller than the two specimens on the sides, now it is the largest in the series. A diffuser on the less jagged rear could already be seen on Erlkönig pictures.
It remains with the large rear spoiler, which is now more reminiscent of motorsport.
This is what the interior of the Type R could look like
So far, Honda has only shown the interior of the new Civic as a rendering. The sports model is likely to adopt the horizontally designed cockpit with digital instruments, but will have its own displays, sports seats and the typical aluminum gear knob. And of course the colors black and red dominate.
There are no official pictures yet, but the interior of the Type R should resemble this rendering.
