With the Ioniq 5, Hyundai is competing with VW’s ID.4. And the Japanese are clearly superior in one respect: the charging technology. Because while the ID.4 charges with 400 volt technology, the Ioniq 5 shares the charging network with the Porsche Taycan. Both charge with 800 volt technology. Of course, the Hyundai with a base price of 43,900 euros is significantly cheaper than the Porsche – and also cheaper than the VW. The latter starts at 46,335 euros. Private customers can currently drive the electric Hyundai with a 58 kWh battery (384 km range) even more cheaply thanks to a leasing offer.
At sparneuwagen.de (cooperation partner of AUTO BILD) there is the Hyundai Ioniq 5 with 125 kW (170 hp) and 350 Nm maximum torque for 315.72 euros in private leasing. For this rate, the electric SUV can be driven 5000 kilometers per year for 60 months. The annual free kilometers can only be adjusted if you choose a shorter contract period.

GHG premium also for e-car leasing
The Hyundai Inoiq 5 also qualifies for the GHG premium, which also applies to leased vehicles. In order to easily get back a three-digit amount a year, the owner only has to register this with the Federal Environment Agency.
Drive a Hyundai Ioniq 5 for two years for 9627 euros
In addition to the monthly leasing rate, there are also the one-off transfer costs of EUR 829 gross and the registration costs of EUR 189 gross. In the most favorable case – excluding environmental premium – total leasing costs of 9626.56 euros gross (24 times 358.69 euros plus 829 euros plus 189 euros). Optionally, a vehicle delivery can be booked for EUR 399 gross.
The electric Ioniq can be freely configured with this deal, but comes with a number of highlights as standard: multifunction steering wheel, 19-inch alloy wheels, navigation system, digital cockpit with 12.5-inch display, two-zone automatic air conditioning, heated front seats and rear parking aid with reversing camera.
