Most recently we received disturbing reports from Level-5 International America, while Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes was postponed in Japan. The focus is on all of Japan and the current Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y – Waiwai Gakuen Seikatsu, which should hopefully be a success, including an upcoming physical release. The last mobile offshoot of Inazuma Eleven, Inazuma Eleven SD, but it will definitely not be a success anymore.
The end after only eleven months
On December 1st, Level-5 will pull the plug on the mobile game Inazuma Eleven SD again. The service only started at the beginning of January. As in many other games of this type, the main aim is to collect figures from characters from the Inazuma Eleven series. A team is then created from these. The pieces are flicked around on the playing field to shoot a ball into the opponent’s goal and also to push opponents away. The free-to-play approach with microtransactions was not able to convince the players in Japan.
