IndyCar will be racing through streets of Nashville next year

The circuit for the “Music City Grand Prix” is 3.5 kilometers long, has 11 turns and features the Korean Veterans Memorial Bridge as an eye-catcher, which takes the drivers back and forth across the Cumberland River. The finish line has been drawn next to the Tennessee Titans’ Nissan Stadium, which will also serve as a paddock.

The track in Nashville – home city of IndyCar champion Josef Newgarden – is the first new street circuit on the IndyCar calendar since 2013. With the Music City Grand Prix, the city wants to put itself on the map both nationally and internationally as a city where sports and culture are of paramount importance.

Full calendar will follow soon

The Nashville race weekend will take place August 6-8. The remainder of the 2021 IndyCar calendar hopes to reveal the organization of the US racing series in three to four weeks. This will not deviate much from the original calendar for 2020 and will therefore have about 18 races.
