Intel Arc: Free games should attract buyers






Intel wants to break into the graphics card market and has a tough start ahead of it. Free games and software are designed to attract potential buyers.

In addition to Nvidia and AMD, there will soon be a third graphics card manufacturer on the market. Intel would like to bring the first GPUs to the Western market this year, and two mobile chips and one desktop GPU are already available in Asia. In order to make entry into this competitive market easier, gamers are to be enticed with free games and software packages.

The “Software Advantage Program” will start shortly for this purpose. Gamers who own a device with an Intel Arc GPU

Buy an Alder Lake processor and get free access to games and software. The program has not yet been officially announced, but the program’s terms and conditions are already publicly available on Intel’s own website. Titles included in the program are already mentioned in the terms and conditions. Below:

  • Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

  • Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed

  • Gotham Knights

  • At least one DLC for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt.

The following software will also be included, with buyers choosing three of the five programs to download free of charge:

  • Power Director 365

  • D5 Render (Subscription)

  • MAGIX Video Pro X14 (subscription)

  • Topaz Gigapixel AI

  • XSplit Premium Suite (Subscription)

According to the terms and conditions, the campaign will run from August 25, 2022, so it has actually already started. The expiration date is December 31, 2022. Intel is expected to release more details in the next few days.
