After a long wait, manufacturer Intel has finally presented the specifications of its high-end graphics cards. Gamers have three cards to choose from: the Arc A770, the Arc A750 and the Arc A 580. Two of the three GPUs are scheduled to go on sale later this month and will be able to keep up with the graphics cards of the competition.
Top model of the RTX 3060 Ti type
The top model, the Arc A770, has 32 Xe cores (4,096 ALUs), a 256-bit interface and a clock speed of 2.1 GHz. Intel offers two models with 8 and 16 GB GDDR6 video memory. The TDP of the graphics card is 225 watts. The performance should roughly correspond to that of an Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti. The price is expected to be between $349 and $399 in the US.

The next smaller model, the Intel Arc A750, on the other hand, only has 28 Xe cores (3,584 ALUs), 28 ray tracing cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory. Intel also specifies the TDP as 225 watts. Compared to a Geforce RTX 3060, the middle model from Intel should offer an average of five percent more performance.

There is also another graphics card, the Intel Arc A580, which has 24 XE cores (3,072 ALUs) and 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory. With this GPU, Intel wants to compete with the Geforce RTX 3050. The price should be between 200 and 299 US dollars accordingly. The TDP is 175 watts.
Prices are to follow
In contrast to the two GPUs Arc A770 and Arc A750, both of which will go on sale later this month, the smaller model Arc A580 will be released later in the year. Ultimately, the price of the graphics cards will determine whether they can actually serve as an alternative to the GPUs from Nvidia and AMD.
