Public Day with future mobility to experience for yourself

The Jungfernstieg on Hamburg’s Inner Alster has been closed to private cars since October 2020.
This also applies to the free public day for everyone on October 14th, for which prior registration is mandatory. On this day there is for the public audience moderated tours to the most important ITS projects in the city, Live demonstrations and lectures on a stage, Workshops and more Hands-on activities (to the entire program). Of the morning is completely open Pupils aligned. Interested parties can take part in the tours Drone projects in the port marvel with a autonomous S-Bahn or with an e-bus via an inner-city one Test track for automated and networked traffic travel.
Automated and sustainable mobility

Basically, at the ITS Congress organized by the organizer ERTICO and co-organized by the Federal Ministry of Transport six focal points addressed: 1. automated mobility, i.e. the transition from driver to autopilot in an automobile, bus or subway; 2. Mobility “on demand”, so the combination of many mobility services (such as taxi, rental bike, e-scooter, public transport) on a single service; 3. intelligent infrastructure, that is, the optimization of traffic using artificial intelligence for faster, smarter and cleaner traffic; 4. New mobility offers through new technologies, for example the use of unmanned drones; 5. better and more sustainable transport of goods, for example from the port to the end customer; 6. Solutions for cities and their residents, that is mobility that is ecological, sustainable and energy efficient.
