Justin Bieber wants to become a priest

Canadian singer Justin Bieber wants to make a career switch. He wants to become a priest of the Hillsong Church of which he has been a part for a while.

The bizarre year 2020 isn’t over yet, so Justin Bieber takes care of the grand finale. In a twist that no one saw coming, Justin now wants to become a priest of Hillsong Church.

Hillsong Church

Hillsong Church is a church within charismatic Christianity. A branch of Christianity that is not well known to us. The emphasis within the Church is on “the work of the Holy Ghost, spiritual gifts, and modern miracles”.

Justin Bieber joined the Church a few years ago with his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez. It was Hillsong Church in an ultimate attempt to glue the pieces between the two, but when that failed, Selena left the community. Justin also seemed to have switched to a new church. For example, his marriage to Hailey Baldwin (now Bieber) was inaugurated by Judah Smith of Churchome. But ties with Hillsong Church are clearly not completely severed yet.

Priest Bieber

Justin Bieber has always got on well with Carl Lentz, the former priest and mentor within the Church. But Lentz recently came under fire and then stepped out of the church due to “problems with his leadership, breach of trust and moral failure”. As a result, a place is now available as a priest in the church and Justin Bieber would like that position. According to sources of OK! Magazine believes that he can “take over the leadership position and restore order in the church”.

Justin Bieber has been part of the church’s choir until now, according to sources, and now wants to expand his position. Therefore, he would now be busy studying for the role of a priest. By becoming a priest, Justin wants to give back to the community that helped him through difficult times in his life.

But fans of Bieber’s music shouldn’t worry. For example, the sources insist that, even as a priest, Justin will still continue to make music. “He doesn’t want to give up his music career, but he feels he has a greater calling.”
