Juventus must win to stay in the Champions League

Without Matthijs de Ligt, who is recovering from an injury, Juventus must avoid being eliminated in the Champions League. In principle, the Italian champion only needs one goal in the home game against FC Porto. Three weeks ago, Porto won the first game in the eighth finals of the Champions League 2-1. Referee Björn Kuipers is in charge of the return in Turin.

Juventus was twice the best club in Europe, most recently in 1996. The ‘Old Lady’ then reached the final of the Champions League five more times, but always left the field as the loser. The Italians took on Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018, in the hope that the Portuguese can finally bring them the desired success in Europe. In the past two seasons, however, Juventus always stranded early in the knockout phase.

Borussia Dortmund defends a 3-2 lead against Sevilla in-house. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland gave the German team in Spain the win with two goals. The Orange internationals Luuk de Jong and Karim Rekik play at Sevilla. Both returns start at 9:00 PM.
