The Lodge Outdoor waterproof Bluetooth speaker is available for pre-order on Kickstarter.

The Lodge Outdoor is currently an interesting speaker concept on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. The Lodge Outdoor is designed for use in the garden, on the balcony or terrace. Solar cells charge the integrated battery

The special feature: The integrated battery can be charged either in the classic way via USB-C or with solar energy. The developers covered 180 square centimeters of the housing surface with solar cells. In sunshine, the speaker can charge itself in this way. With a full charge, it should be able to play music for around 15 hours.

50 watt amplifier and Blutooth 5.3

The solar panels and the housing are designed to withstand different weather conditions and, according to the developers, can withstand not only a downpour but also strong winds. The panels are also unbreakable and shatterproof. A 4-inch subwoofer, 3/4-inch tweeter and a 50-watt amplifier work inside the Lodge Outdoor. The Bluetooth 5.3 audio chipset is said to guarantee a range of up to 30 meters.
