Amazon today announced the latest generation of its Kindle and Kindle Kids e-book readers. The new Kindle offers a high-resolution 6-inch display with a pixel density of 300 ppi. The screen with e-paper technology does not reflect and has three times the pixel density of the previous generation.
USB-C and six weeks of battery life
The charging function via USB-C is also new. Amazon has also doubled the internal storage to 16 gigabytes. According to Amazon it is coming

As with the predecessors, the new Kindle generation also has a dictionary and the X-Ray function on board, which provides details about people or places in books. Kindle Kids with improved hardware
Besides the Kindle, Amazon also has the
Kindle Kids
revised. The e-book reader for children from the age of seven offers three different cover designs and the new high-resolution display. Charging via USB-C and 16 gigabytes of internal memory are also on board the Kindle Kids. Parents also get a two-year worry-free guarantee and a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+ with purchase. The subscription service allows unlimited access to thousands of child-friendly e-books. Kindle Kids owners also have extensive control options via the parent dashboard.
