Lease the compact Renault Clio from 114.99 euros per month

The Renault Clio is currently in its 5th generation. Thanks to its manageable length of 4.05 meters, the modern Clio is perfect for the city. When it comes to engines, Renault mainly relies on petrol engines, but since 2020 the small car has also been available as a hybrid variant called “E-Tech”.
If you are looking for an inexpensive city car, you will probably not go for the hybrid model, but rather for the pure combustion engine basis. The three-cylinder petrol engine SCe 65 is available in the lowest equipment “Equilibre” from 17,800 euros. Leasing is even cheaper thanks to current offers – the Renault Clio is currently available from 114.99 euros per month.

Since the Renault range is made to order vehicles, the Clio can still be refined according to your own wishes. Of course, additional equipment also affects the monthly rate. In order to get the Clio at the cheapest monthly rate of 114.99 euros gross, the Frenchman must be leased for 60 months, including 50,000 kilometers during this time.

Functional small car with good basic equipment

The Renault Clio offered at comes in the basic version “Equilibre” and is therefore not for fans of luxuriously equipped vehicles. Nevertheless, the basic equipment of the city car is impressive. In the basic version, the Clio has an emergency brake assistant, air conditioning, cruise control, a 7-inch touchscreen for smartphone integration and LED taillights.

Economy is also the order of the day under the hood. The one-liter three-cylinder SCe 65 provides a maximum torque of 96 Newton meters and transmits its power to the front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. The Clio manages the sprint to 100 km/h in a rather tough 17.1 seconds. For use in the city, however, this is irrelevant.

Of course, the total leasing costs depend on the selected term and the annual free kilometers. In the cheapest version offered by, the total costs for private customers including transfer costs amount to 7698.40 euros gross (114.99 euros times 60 months plus 799 euros) – provided you want to drive the Clio for five years.

Commercial customers in particular are more likely to opt for a two-year lease. In connection with 15,000 free kilometers per year, business customers come to total leasing costs of 4147.35 euros net (144.83 euros times 24 months plus 671.43 euros).
