Mustang – a name that makes car fans’ hearts leap! Sporty silhouette and a fat V8: That was the recipe of the Ford Mustang for many decades. But since 2021, Ford has also been offering a completely different Mustang in Germany. The Mach-E shares little in common with the icon, save for the logos and distinctive vertical taillights. Instead of a sports car we are talking about an SUV here, instead of a V8 there is an electric drive.
With a length of 4.71 meters, the Mustang Mach-E is slightly larger than a VW ID.4 and is not only visually a lot sportier than the competitor from Wolfsburg. In the AUTO BILD test, the electric Mustang was fully convincing: “For the European market, the technicians have once again taken the chassis and steering to heart and sharpened them considerably. (…) Regardless of whether it is rear-wheel drive or with all-wheel drive, the rear axle is supplied with plenty of torque depending on the driving program, which makes for lively tail swings and a broad grin even with classic Mustang drivers.” In addition, the Mach-E already offers a maximum range of 440 kilometers in the 198 kW (269 hp) basic version with a 75.7 kWh battery. With the larger battery (extended range), it should even be up to 610 kilometers. Unfortunately, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is not a bargain, even in the base it costs at least 56,500 euros. If you don’t want to invest that much money, you should take a closer look at the current leasing offer. (maintenance costs to calculate? To the car insurance comparison!)
Lease Mustang Mach-E from 493 euros
At sparneuwagen.de (cooperation partner of AUTO BILD), the Ford Mustang Mach-E is available as a standard range from EUR 493.19 net per month. The deal is aimed exclusively at business customers and includes a one-time special payment of 5000 euros net. This amount will be refunded after correct and timely application for the environmental bonus to the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA).
The term is given as 48 months. If desired, the Mustang Mach-E can also be leased for 36 (556.23 euros net) or 60 months (590.88 euros net). Unfortunately, the free kilometers are given as just 5000 per year, which should not be enough for most customers. If you want to drive 10,000 kilometers a year, you have to pay 535.92 euros net per month, for 20,000 kilometers it is 620.98 euros net.
Irrespective of the term and the selected kilometer package, there is a one-off payment of EUR 1,168.07 net (EUR 1,390 gross) for the transfer/provision. In the best case (48 months with a total mileage of 20,000 kilometers), this results in leasing costs of 24,841.19 euros net (493.19 euros times 48 plus 1168.07 euros) excluding the environmental bonus.
In return, commercial customers receive a warehouse vehicle that is immediately available. In addition to the standard equipment, the Mach-E in the exterior color “Grabber Blue Metallic” has the technology package including Bang & Olufsen sound system, power tailgate, 360-degree camera and more. According to sparneuwagen.de, the offer may no longer be available at short notice due to high demand. An overview of all interesting leasing deals can be found here!
