Lukaku shoots Inter to Serie A lead

Romelu Lukaku has shot Internazionale to the top of the Serie A. The Belgian scored twice in the home game with Lazio (3-1). He also provided the assist on the goal of his teammate Lautaro Martínez

Lukaku celebrated his fifteenth and sixteenth league goal of the season. He has now scored 300 goals for his clubs and country team. Stefan de Vrij played the entire match for Inter. Wesley Hoedt was substituted for Lazio at half time. He caused a penalty kick, which Lukaku used. Even after several repetitions, it was not clear that Hoedt actually hit his opponent Martínez. Gonzalo Escalante narrowed the deficit for Lazio (2-1).

Inter now has one point more than AC Milan. AS Roma (7 points) and Juventus (8 points) have fallen further behind. Juventus has played a game less than Inter.
