Make Windows 10 leaner with standard tools


Windows 10 offers the option of compressing the system drive. This usually saves a few GB of storage space.

Start the command prompt with administrator rights. To do this, click on the Windows symbol, type in cmd and select “Run as administrator”. It is advisable to back up data before starting compression.
