A Porsche 911 GT3 is traditionally one of the hottest things you can do on a racetrack. Topped at most if “RS” is behind it. This RS expansion stage of the recently presented 992 GT3 is still being tested. It shouldn’t be long before the world premiere, but Manthey-Racing is getting ahead of the Zuffenhäuser. the Porsche-Specialists present a tuning program for the winged sportsman to improve his race track qualities. The six-cylinder suction remains untouched
The primary goal of Manthey-Racing: Den 911 GT3 to make it even more performant for the racetrack. That was not an easy task, says Manthey development manager Stefan Mages. No wonder the serialGT3 17 seconds behind his predecessor with a Nordschleife time of 6:59.927 minutes. The tuner still leaves the high-revving four-liter six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer untouched, it remains at 510 hp and 470 Nm of torque.
The rear wheel covers should reduce the air turbulence, but Manthey-Racing does not reveal any details about Cd values.
Lightweight rims with aero discs
Instead, it works faster than the series with a four-way adjustable chassis developed together with Porsche. There are also steel braided brake lines and new brake pads as well as lightweight rims with aerodynamic cladding on the rear axle. The body is adorned with a new front lip, side flics, a new rear diffuser and a wider carbon rear wing with side plates. Despite the tuning, you should still be able to travel to the track day on your own without any problems.

Over four seconds faster on the Nordschleife
Manthey-Racing had already presented the tuning kit at the beginning of 2022. Now it is also clear how much the optimizations really bring. With a time of 6:55.737 minutes, Porsche works driver Kévin Estre gained a full 4.19 seconds on the production vehicle on the 20.8-kilometer Nürburgring Nordschleife. The tuning parts are now available in Europe. The prices for the kit start at 37,911 euros gross. The base vehicle Porsche 911 GT3 is currently available from 175,848 euros, with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
