Midsummer is currently taking a short break in Germany, but the first “Black Friday of the summer” has started at Media Markt. A few days before Amazon Prime Day 2022 (July 12 + 13, 2022), Media Markt is running the “Red Friday Weekend” campaign. Until Sunday, July 10, 2022, at 11:59 p.m., the

and in the branches (provided a Sunday is open for sale) numerous products at particularly low prices.
Media Markt explains the campaign: “Black Friday is considered THE shopping event of the year. But what a pity that it only takes place once a year, at the end of November. MediaMarkt thought so too and therefore considered inviting its customers in surprise this year with a Red Friday weekend in the summer.”
