In 1978 the Colt came to Germany – almost half a million vehicles have been sold since then. The new Colt should also come to Europe.

So far there is only talk of a hybrid model

The next generation of the Mitsubishi Colt will be a five-door hatchback. Mitsubishi has not yet commented on technical data. So far, there has only been talk of a hybrid drive – the “EV” lettering, which can be seen in the teaser image, would also fit in with this.
What is certain, however, is that the Mitsubishi Colt will be based on the CMF-B platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. Hence the similarity to the Renault Clio; and the Clio is also available with a hybrid drive. So it stands to reason that Mitsubishi will adopt the 105 kW (143 hp) engine from the Renault. The basic model of the Clio E-Tech is priced at 23,300 euros – the Colt will probably be similarly expensive.

2023 two new Mitsubishi models for Germany

In addition to the new Colt, the latest generation of the Mitsubishi ASX will also come to Germany in 2023. The history of the compact SUV does not go back nearly as far as that of the Colt – it only started in 2010. Nevertheless, the ASX – after the Space Star – enjoys great popularity.
