Story follows the Wesker sisters
The action of the “Resident Evil” series is set three decades after the discovery of the T-Virus. The story is told in two time levels – the present and the future. The first follows the experiences of fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker, who move to the artificial city of Raccoon City with their father, Albert Wesker. Over time, they discover that the city is more than meets the eye and that their father is entangled in dark secrets that could destroy the world.
Story with two time levels
The second time level is 16 years in the future. Jade is now thirty and the world is down to fifteen million people after the T-Virus outbreak. They fight for survival against six billion monsters.
The first season of “Resident Evil” will consist of eight episodes of around one hour each. Showrunner is Andrew Dabb, who has produced several seasons of Supernatural.
