Japanese developer and publisher Arc System Works recently released a new trailer Kowloon Youma Gakuen Ki: Origin of Adventure. The RPG title, which the developer calls “School Romance Adventure”, is a remaster of the original that was released in 2004 and is now set to be released on June 4, 2020 for Nintendo Switch in Japan for 5,800 yen (about 49 euros) appear.
Protagonist Kurou Habaki has just joined the Rosetta Society, a guild for aspiring treasure hunters. The guild searches for treasures that come from an ancient civilization and whose objects are beyond human knowledge. Habaki heads to the Temple of Heraklion in Cairo to begin his first expedition.
One of the new features of the HD remaster is a complete speech output. Since the title is very text-heavy, Kowloon Youma Gakuen Ki: Origin of Adventure can only be played with knowledge of Japanese. Interested players who are not proficient in the Japanese language should wait for a western version.
It is still unclear whether and when the title will find its way to the West.
