Publisher Sold Out and developer Metronomik, founded by former Final Fantasy XV lead designer Wan Hazmer, had to do the rhythm jump ’n’ run No straight roads postpone to a later date this summer. Previously, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC releases from the Epic Games Store were scheduled for June 30, 2020.
Wan Hazmer apologizes for the delay and assures that it should be as short as possible. The reason these days is always the same – specifically the “complications from the global pandemic”.
No Straight Roads is an action game that presents music and sound as the heart of the gameplay. The player takes on the roles of Mayday and Zuke, two members of the indie rock band Bunk Bed Junction. He asserts himself in the game against the mega-cooperation NSR, which took control of Vinyl City and banished all types of music except EDM. The player explores the exciting parts of Vinyl City and transforms objects into weapons with the power of music, faces colossal boss fights and changes the world.
We played the title extensively during Gamescom 2019. You can find out everything about it in our Allied! No straight roads. You can pre-order the commercial version for consoles from Amazon *.
In addition, the No Straight Roads Collector’s Edition *, with an exclusive two-sided record with the tracks of the OST, a rocking 64-page “The Art of NSR” art book, official NSR drumsticks and a funky box, for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4 will be available.
