The iPhone 13 will have a smaller notch, says well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. That’s the beginning of the end for the screen notch. Some iPhones that will be released in 2022 will exchange the notch for a small screen hole, according to Kuo. Comparable to Samsung devices.
The Pro models of the iPhone 13 also have a higher refresh rate of 120 hertz, according to Kuo, for smooth images. The new devices will also get a larger battery and a better camera.
Contrary to previous rumors, Apple would not be ready this year for a device that can only be charged wirelessly.
New iPhone SE
According to Kuo, Apple will also launch a new iPhone SE in the first half of 2022. The design of the device does not change, with internal support for 5G and a faster processor as the biggest upgrades.
The first foldable iPhone should then appear in 2023, Kuo predicts. The device may get a screen that is between 7.5 and 8 inches.
