Samsung has launched the open beta for One UI 5.0, which means that the first Samsung smartphones will also receive Android 13. According to Samsung, One UI 5.0 is available as part of the beta program for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. In Germany, the USA and South Korea. “One UI 5 offers a range of new customization, security and accessibility features as part of Samsung’s ongoing commitment to bring the latest mobile experiences to as many users as possible,” Samsung said in a statement.
One UI 5.0 offers these innovations
One of the new features of One UI 5.0 is the ability to customize the look of the interface. There is now an expanded range of color options, including 16 color themes and 12 color options for home screens, icons and quick panels. Users are allowed to stack widgets of the same size on the home screen to save space. There are also more ways to customize notifications across applications. New controls make it easier to block notifications from specific apps.
Brand new with One UI 5.0 is the ability to set the language for different apps separately. App X can thus be used on the device in German and App Y in English or another language. In addition, there is easier access to ringtone volumes and vibration intensities in the settings.
