The fifth, launched in January 2015 and built until 2019 Corsa-Generation had to apply the basis of the previous generation presented in 2006 for cost reasons. However, a more youthful front and rear view as well as new engines and a heavily revised chassis brought the hoped-for freshness.
Opel Corsa used: 9480 euros after five years and 69,000 km
Our copy from Autohus in Bockel near Bremen is a five-door model with “Edition” equipment and an unspectacular, but perfectly adequate 1.4-liter intake manifold petrol engine. According to the Schwacke database, the Danish reimport cost 17,330 euros in August 2017. Now he would be available as a well-groomed five-year-old with 69,409 kilometers but without serious injuries for 9480 euros.

Cockpit with a lot of honest plastic, but chic (heatable!) leather steering wheel and manual climate control. Easy to read instruments, classic CD radio.
Even if the buyer of a new car did not invest too much in extras, everything that is important is on board. There is manual air conditioning and a CD radio system with Bluetooth connection, as well as heated seats and steering wheel.
And how is it to travel? Still quite comfortable. The chassis is rumble-free, the space at the front is generous, and the plastic interior is hard but durable. And the job wasn’t too strenuous for the seat covers either.
A few thousand cheaper than a VW Polo of the same age
The rear seat is noticeably more cramped, but two Isofix child seat holders with top tether and head airbags are installed. A real selling point if the Corsa to be used as a family (second) car.
In the Euro NCAP crash test in 2014 it was enough for a decent four stars. He experienced his moment of glory Corsa E but with the maintenance costs.

In terms of drive technology, there was a large selection even without an electric or hybrid variant: from April 2018 Opel switched to cleaner Euro 6d Temp versions. The 90 hp one-liter turbo sounds rough, but looks very lively. The Euro 6 diesel variants with 75 to 95 hp are rare and now rather unpopular.
For particularly dynamic Corsa-Younger bot Opel real crackers. It drives as a GSI with 150 hp Corsa amazingly dynamic. A real high-flyer is the 207 hp OPC. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 230 km/h. Used, it starts at 12,900 euros.
