Opel Mokka in the long-term test – AUTO BILD

It’s so green when … Opel’s trendy SUV Mokka pulls up. That’s a good thing, because the Mini-Matscho starts its long-term test in Hamburg autumn, which wears desolate gray (always standard) – Matcha green metallic (only for GS Line 595 euros) is really refreshing. A compliment that we can also pay the drive. The 1.2-liter turbo with its 130 PS (more is only available in the Mokka-e with 136 PS) rarely burns anything and usually makes us scurry through the traffic in a relaxed manner.

Yes, the three-cylinder growls a bit too hoarse and an idea too cheeky due to the black leather interior for an extra charge of 430 euros, but whining children are more nerve-wracking. To be fair, it should be noted that the offspring of a certain size do not complain without reason. The fund is remarkably limited. At over 1.85 meters it means: make yourself small at the back, knees to your ears and please suffer quietly. No fun when four adults are traveling. And with 350 (up to a maximum of 1105) liters of trunk space, the dispute should be inevitable.

Like! Monitor inclined towards the driver, real buttons for important functions, seats with massage.

Stress threatens even in lively cities – despite the extremely handy format. The nippy design hinders the consideration so massively that cyclists are sometimes difficult to see when turning. It is also difficult to understand why the trunk can only be opened using the remote control key and why there is only a sensor on the driver’s door for keyless access. Comforting: it locks automatically as soon as the key is removed.
