Opel and tuning simply belong together. It was a matter of honor that a number of exquisitely converted representatives of the brand with the lightning bolt could be admired at the start of the PS Days in Hanover. Corsa of different series, Calibra, Ascona, Kadett and more shone brightly on the exhibition areas. We have selected our five Rüsselsheim highlights of the fair and present them here.
80s tuning very popular
Two Corsa are among our highlights. Number one: A radically modified Corsa C. The layman would find it difficult to describe it as a Opel recognize what is mainly due to the headlights of the BMW E60 5 Series. Even the completely cleaned, painted and leather-covered engine compartment is not reminiscent of Opel.
Highlight Corsa number two is a two-door notchback called TR from the first generation. The small car, which is rare today, was given contemporary 14-inch drop center rims, flip-flop paintwork, pinstripes and a roll cage. Our list is completed by an extremely rare Kadett C Aero in new car condition, a Kadett E Caravan with a GSi engine and an Ascona C with motorsport borrowings.
