Various views can be activated in Outlook to help organize mails so that entire groups can be removed in one fell swoop.
Outlook’s inbox accumulates a huge amount of email over time, many of which are out of date and could be deleted. However, going through the entire list of messages is time consuming, tedious, and rarely done.
E-mails can be easily sorted in Outlook using the preview view.
However, you can activate different views in Outlook to help you organize the mails so that entire groups can be removed in one fell swoop. Switch to the “View” ribbon and click on “Change view -› Preview “. Outlook now shows you the sender, subject and the first two lines of the mail in a list view and sorted by columns. Now click with the right mouse button on any column title and go to “Field selection”. “Frequently used fields” is preset there. After clicking on the small, downward-pointing arrow, you can switch, for example, to “All email fields”. Now select “Cc”, for example, and drag and drop the field with the mouse into the row of the column title. After clicking on it, Outlook compiles all the messages that were sent via Cc to the same recipient, but who may no longer be employed by your company. Think about which sorting makes sense for you in order to collect mail you no longer need, mark the messages as usual and delete them.
