The pinnacle of decadence: enjoy these delicious oysters with Balinese dressing at home. And believe us when we say that the dressing makes everything delicious.
For 6 oysters:
- 6 farm-fresh oysters
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped cilantro (stems + leaf)
- 1 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger
- 1 red chili pepper, finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- 5 tablespoons of light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon palm sugar (or brown sugar)
Have you always been curious about oysters, but are you not very daring? Then we recommend that you try your first oyster with this Balinese dressing. The recipe is inspired by a version we ate from restaurant O&O. Divine.
Make them when you have something festive to celebrate, as a delicious snack or just because you feel like it.
The amount of dressing we make is enough for even more oysters – you can probably easily make 20 or so oysters with it.
This is how you make oysters with Balinese dressing
Mix all the ingredients for the dressing in a small bowl, except for the coriander.
Open the oysters carefully.
Preferably place the oysters on ice (or just eat them very quickly) and drizzle with the dressing. Finally sprinkle with the coriander. Enjoy.
