“Party In The USA” and “Bye Bye Bye” suddenly return to the US charts after Biden election

The election result was extensively celebrated in the United States this weekend. And apparently a lot of people put on the same applicable songs. They were played so often that they reappeared in the charts years after they were originally released.

It’s finally official this weekend: Joe Biden has won the US presidential election and will become the new president of the United States in January. Many Democratic voters couldn’t be happier and it became clear in their choice of music.

Party In The USA

The number Party In The USA Miley Cyrus, which came out in 2009, quickly became the number one of Biden’s election. A lot of people made it such an American party and of course that song cannot be missed. The song was played so often that it even re-entered the top 40 on the US iTunes list.

Miley herself also jumped on the hype. She shared a video on Instagram of Joe Biden and his vice president Kamala Harris dancing to the song.

Bye Bye Bye

But it wasn’t just Miley Cyrus who got a boost from the election. Also * NSYNC benefited from Joe Biden’s election. Apparently many people thought it appropriate to Bye Bye Bye to play, probably referring to Donald Trump who will soon have to leave the White House. Although he does not seem to want to accept that for the time being.

The song also suddenly re-entered the top 200 of iTunes in the United States. A great achievement, especially when you know that the song was released in the beginning of 2000, more than 20 years ago.
