This pastrami sandwich is a delicious (and hearty) breakfast with which you can start the day well. Try it out for yourself!
For 1 person:
- 1 spelled bun or other large hard roll
- 100 grams pastrami (preferably from the butcher)
- 1 tablespoon spicy (smooth) mustard
- 1 heaped teaspoon of horseradish cream
- Pickles, sliced
Pastrami is a type of salted and smoked beef and comes from Romania. In addition to being pickled and smoked, pastrami is flavored with garlic, cloves, coriander, allspice and basil. This gives it its delicious spicy taste.
Pastrami sandwich with mustard & pickle
Halve the spelled ball and spread the bottom half with the horseradish cream. Top with the pastrami and slices of pickle. Spread the soft side of the top half with the mustard. And… enjoy!
