Performance, infotainment and co: That changes with the new DS 3!

DS has tackled the compact DS 3: As with the DS 7, the last part of the name will be left out of the DS 3 Crossback in the future. Furthermore, the series will be available as a combustion engine and also as a fully electric one. However, the diesel offer will be narrower in the future: the BlueHDi 110 will be eliminated, so only the Blue HDi 130 remains.

Regardless of the drive, DS brings some fresh details to the series with the new DS 3 generation. Starting with the fact that the previous top equipment “Rivoli” is now being replaced by “Opera”. The entry-level model also gets a new name: it’s now called “Bastille” – and no longer “Montmartre”.

More power for the all-electric DS 3 E-Tense

There is an increase in output especially for the electric version – the DS 3 E-Tense: the previous 100 kW (136 hp) are now 115 kW (156 hp). According to WLTP, the range should be a maximum of 400 kilometers.

DS has also made some improvements to the interior and technology. The DS 3 is now getting over-the-air updates, and the DS Iris infotainment system with a central 10.3-inch display is also making its debut. Fully automatic air conditioning and folding exterior mirrors are standard on board.

Original design with more color play

The new designs of the rims ensure more individuality (the sizes remain the same for the respective model); the new body colors “Diva Red” and “Silk Gray” as well as the roof color “Karat Gray” are also available. DS has not yet given any information on price adjustments.
