Peugeot e-308 SW: the first European electric station wagon

The e-308 SW is based on a well-known platform

With the Peugeot e-308 SW, the French brand is launching the first electric station wagon from a European manufacturer.

The Peugeot 308 was previously only available as a combustion engine, mild hybrid or PHEV. The “e” in the name is new!
It has a range of up to 400 kilometers
The two new E models are equipped with a 54 kWh battery, which according to WLTP – and depending on the equipment – should enable a range of around 400 kilometers.
Consumption is 12.7 kWh per 100 kilometers. According to Peugeot, the e-308 and e-308 SW charge from 20 to 80 percent in around 25 minutes at a 100 kW charging station.
Smartphone and car are connected via Peugeot app
If you want to be as economical as possible on the road, you should choose “Eco” from the three different driving modes. “Normal” and “Sport” are also available.
Peugeot has already announced some details about the safety features: In addition to an emergency brake assistant, a front collision warning and pedestrian/cyclist detection (day and night), the electric 308s will be equipped with an adaptive cruise control, a blind spot assistant and a parking assistant.

Modern look in the interior thanks to the flattened steering wheel and ten-inch display.
As a further comfort feature, the flattened steering wheel can be heated, and the cockpit is equipped with a 3D instrument cluster and a ten-inch display. The car can be connected to the smartphone via the “MyPeugeot” app.
