Starting today is Phantasy Star Online 2 also available in the Epic Games Store for PCs. The free-to-play MMORPG is conquering another platform. The latest version is playable up to and including episode 6. The new episode recently brought the game new classes, secondary tasks, opponents, a new level limit of 95 and much, much more. A list of the new content can be found on the official website. Of course, this also includes updating the story.
With the release on Steam and since the start of Episode 4, the MMO is actually officially available in many European countries, including Germany, after all these years. Phantasy Star Online 2 is now also available in our realms in the Microsoft Store *. So now the Epic Games Store is following suit. The base game is free.
Episode 6 was started for the “old” PSO2. Last summer Sega officially announced Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. This is a complete overhaul of PSO2. The “old” PSO2 should continue to exist alongside New Genesis – and it does, as you can see. You can find out more about Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis here.
