Polestar’s first SUV comes with over 500 hp

Two electric motors on the rear axle
But the motorization should be more exciting. Electric, of course! How the system performance of the base model will turn out is still unknown. The only thing that is certain is that all variants of the e-SUV that will be available at the market launch come with two motors on the rear axle – i.e. with rear-wheel drive. The Polestar also features torque vectoring and a double clutch system on the rear electric motor.
From sporty to relaxed in two milliseconds
A special feature that has already been revealed: the active shock absorbers can switch from firm to comfortable within two milliseconds – and vice versa. The manufacturer also emphasizes that SUV will have a low center of gravity and a wide track. More details will most likely be announced after the world premiere. The only performance specification so far relates to the optional performance package: 380 kW (517 hp) and a maximum torque of 910 Nm.
The Polestar 3 also comes with brand-typical details
Some well-known details will also be repeated in the brand’s third model, including the valve flaps and seat belts in Swedish gold. As for the interior, the only sure thing is that there will be a laser-engraved light bar. In mid-October, many more secrets will definitely be revealed!
