Realme C31: new budget smartphone for 140 euros






With the C31, Realme is bringing a new budget smartphone with a large battery to Germany.

The Chinese electronics manufacturer Realme has announced a new budget smartphone, the Realme C31, which will be available in Germany from April 11, 2022.

No Full HD, internal memory tight

The Realme C31 offers a 6.5-inch LC screen with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. The refresh rate is 60 Hz. Realme installs the eight-core SoC Unisoc T612 in the case. The Realme C31 will be available in two storage variants. The version with 32 gigabytes of internal memory has three gigabytes of RAM, and the version with 64 gigabytes has four gigabytes of RAM. The internal memory can be expanded using a micro SD card.

Rudimentary camera equipment

The front camera of the Realme C31 is built into a small notch and has a resolution of five megapixels. There is a triple camera on the back of the smartphone. This consists of a main camera with 13 megapixels, a macro camera with 0.3 megapixels and a black and white camera with two megapixels.

Android 11 and no 5G

Users of the budget smartphone have to do without 5G and NFC. WLAN is only supported in the 802.11b/g/n frequency range. Instead of a USB-C port, Realme has installed a micro-USB port in the C31, which is used to charge the smartphone. Bluetooth version 5.0 is on board. Other features include a 5,000 mAh battery, but it cannot be charged quickly. Android 11 is used as the mobile operating system.

The 32 GB version of the smartphone costs around 140 euros. The version with 64 gigabytes of internal memory will cost around 160 euros.
