If you don’t feel like entering your password, PIN or Windows Hello, you can simply start Windows 10 without any input. That’s how it’s done!
With netplwiz you can save your Windows 10 password so that Windows starts automatically without entering it
To switch off the password query when Windows starts, first press the key combination Windows key + R. Now enter the command in the “Run” window
and press Enter. A dialog for managing the system’s user accounts then opens. Select the user whose password should no longer be entered.
If no user appears here, it doesn’t matter. In any case, remove the check mark next to “User must enter user name and password” and click OK. You will then have to enter your user name again (if not filled in beforehand) and your login password (for example the password of your Microsoft account) twice.
If you do not know the username of your current account and the field is not pre-filled, press Windows key + R again and enter
in the field. An error message then appears, but at the very beginning of the message is your user name, which you then enter in Netplwiz without quotation marks.
The system will restart automatically from the next system restart. Strictly speaking, the Windows password was not removed, but saved.
Windows 10 offers numerous options for convenient login without entering a password
You should never do without password protection, especially with notebooks, as your system can otherwise very easily be misused by strangers if you misplace the device or if it is stolen. If entering the password is too tedious for you, Windows 10 offers a whole range of more convenient alternatives – such as face recognition via Windows Hello, a PIN or a picture code.
Webcam instead of entering a password:
More and more Windows 10 users are working in the home office and need a webcam for video conferences anyway. If you buy a webcam that supports Windows Hello, you can conveniently log into Windows 10 using facial recognition. You can find suitable webcams that are compatible with Windows Hello

You can activate and configure all of these alternative authentication methods via “Start -> Gear -> Accounts -> Login options”. Only switch off the password entry on devices on which you are sure that no other user can get their hands on it.
An extra tip:
So that your system starts up really faster, it is worth taking a look at the programs that start together with Windows 10. So the startup programs. Right-click the taskbar, then select Task Manager from the context menu. Here you switch to the “Autostart” tab. This overview now lists programs and services that start together with Windows. If you do not want an entry, right-click on it and then select “Deactivate” from the context menu.

Remove Windows 10 password after standby, hibernation or lock screen
If you want to use your PC directly without entering a password after waking it up from standby or hibernation or after deactivating the lock screen, you can also switch off this query. To do this, click on “Start -> Gear -> Accounts -> Login options”. Now select the entry “Never” under “When should Windows request a new login after you have been absent?”. If you can’t choose the option, you probably have Windows Hello turned on. Click on “Remove” to enable the options.
