The electric Mégane has a touch of GTI
Our Test Mégane had the 60 kWh battery. This means that the curb weight is relatively slim 1624 kilograms. In combination with the 218 hp of the electric motor, this results in a right lively driving behavior, almost with a touch of GTI. Renault promises to accelerate from zero to 100 km / h 7.4 seconds, the top is 160 km / h. As with the competition, the degree of Recuperation Adjust via paddle shifters on the steering wheel, that works very well. There is also the typical driving modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport and Individual – we suspect that most will leave it at Comfort, which does not significantly reduce driving pleasure. the steering reacts quickly and astonishingly directly – but remains somehow numb.

Electric punch: the 218 hp accelerate the Mégane E-Tech from standstill to 100 km / h in 7.4 seconds.
