With the Xcover 6 Pro, Samsung has introduced the latest addition to its Xcover rugged smartphone family.
The Samsung Xcover 6 Pro will be available in Germany from July.
With the Xcover 6 Pro, Samsung announced the latest model from its robust smartphone family for the German market this week. The cell phone has a 6.6-inch LCD screen, a resolution of 2,408 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Xcover 6 should be resistant to falls and scratches thanks to a display protection made of Gorilla Glass Victus. The screen also offers increased touch sensitivity, which is intended to guarantee users reliable operation when it is wet or when they are wearing gloves.
Removable battery and headphone jack
The Snapdragon 778G, six gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory work in the robust housing of the Xcover 6 Pro. The camera equipment is rather manageable compared to the mid-range competition. Samsung installs a 50- and an 8-megapixel lens on the back, while a 13-megapixel sensor is used on the front. Other features include 5G, a classic headphone jack and a removable 4,050 mAh battery. Only one cover has to be removed to exchange it.
Available in Germany from July
The Xcover 6 Pro is also certified with IP68 and MIL-STD 810H and is therefore particularly well protected against dust and water, according to Samsung. Samsung has also integrated a programmable button into the smartphone. Certain apps can be started or a function can be executed, such as activating the flashlight. The Samsung Xcover 6 Pro will be available in Germany from July 2022 at a price of 609 euros.
