The Toyota Supra could soon come with a manual gearbox. So far, the latest generation of the Supra is only available with an automatic transmission. But the rumors about a manual transmission have been going strong since the market launch and are tending to increase. Toyota itself hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but screenshots have surfaced online showing some details and supposedly confirming this suspicion.
Manual gearbox only for the six-cylinder
If the rumors are true, friends of the Japanese car scene can look forward to a manual Supra with a six-speed gearbox. It could be offered from October 2022 – but probably only in connection with the six-cylinder engine, the four-cylinder retains its automatic eight-speed gearbox.
