Rush on Sylt: Cars queue for miles in front of a car ferry

The first ferries left for Sylt on Monday morning. The rush was huge: Already in the afternoon there were kilometers of traffic jams in front of the car ferry that goes from Niebüll to Westerland. You can see this in the following video sent to NewsABC.net
The creators of the video reported to NewsABC.net that the cars in front of Sylt had been stuck in traffic for six hours.
Day tourists are not allowed on Schleswig-Holstein’s North Sea islands and most of the Halligen on Ascension Day and the following weekend or at Pentecost. St. Peter-Ording is also prohibited from entering on both weekends.
