SaGa Frontier Remastered appears as a commercial version with localization

SaGa Frontier never made it to us in Europe. That will change in April, then will SaGa Frontier Remastered in this country for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC-Steam and for mobile devices via iOS and Android. Only digitally, but still.

You guessed it. There is an alternative! In Asia, SaGa Frontier Remastered for Switch and PS4 will be delivered again with English texts on the data carrier. Exactly our version, because unfortunately there is only an English-language localization in Europe. You can pre-order the commercial version at Play-Asia.

A classic with new content

SaGa Frontier was first released for PlayStation in 1997 in Japan and in 1998 in North America, but was never released in Europe. The successor SaGa Frontier 2 also made it to us in 2000.

In addition to the remaster treatment, there is also a new character for SaGa Frontier Remastered with Fuse. This means that a squad of eight characters is available. Each of these has its own goals and ends, it is up to the player to choose a character and a path. There will also be new events and features.

However, Fuse won’t be available until the other seven characters’ stories are over. You can find out more about the new character here. The story is by Akitoshi Kawazu (director of the original) and Benny Matsuyama, the original composer Kenji Ito also contributes new music.
